Cool Paper Airplane - HALO is an awesome easy and cool paper airplane to fold, hello on the front of this paper airplane is a guaranteed headache! And it flies fine. At the start of the video, I slowly toss him into the air and he's about 8 meters, or about 25 feet, before reaching a shelf where the boys are watching the hottest YouTube videos they are. I'm sure it will fly away, a lot more!

* HALO requires tape to hold halo in place, so get some tape before you start folding. What if you don't have tape? You're in luck because these paper airplanes look amazing and fly great even if you don't fold the halo. The halo ends up being two tiny wings on an attractive front paper plane.

Step 2: Bring the top corner and align the bottom corner with the center line. This creates a diagonal crease.

Step 4: Align the diagonal line made in step 2 to the center line. The two triangular folds create a beautiful square shape.

Step 5: Fold the nose up. The square shape made in step 4 is folded exactly in half.

Step 6: Flip the paper plane again in half lengthwise. Make sure the paper airplane wings are attached properly.

How To Make Cool Paper Airplanes That Fly Far And Straight

Step 7: Count the wings. The wingtips are flush with the lower edge of the fuselage. You can fly this paper airplane now, the extra wings on the front make it a beautiful paper airplane. And it flies well!

Step 8: Locate the hole in the small front wing (see photo). This is where you will place the other front wing to create a halo.

Step 9: Use a little tape to hold the halo in place. Thanks, it's done! Instead of a halo, let your imagination run wild. Fold the halo in a zigzag pattern. Can't you see how these paper airplanes fly? There's something about paper airplanes that appeals to men, even grown men. I can think of a few grown men: dads, parents, and teachers who have loved this app for working with their kids, or even just for themselves. I, as a grown woman, am usually not interested in paper airplanes, but I was very happy to see the beautiful and unique designs of paper airplanes when I first opened the app.

This kit includes 12 paper airplanes, an instructional booklet, and a catapult model. Everything fits in the nice box it comes in, even after the flight (if you remove the cardboard inside). The catapult launcher makes this plane fly faster and faster than flying by hand, which is a huge bonus!

Science Of Flight: Paper Airplanes

Right after getting the One Minute Flight app, I had the chance to hang out with my seven year old nephew, so we had to try this app together. He loved it, both in it and waving it.

I should point out that the name of this app, "One Minute Plane" can be misleading. First of all, I think one unit represents the time it took to build each plane, but it takes a long time to build until you get the hang of it. I found that the drawing process for making paper art was different from origami so it took me a while to figure things out. Even after you build all the planes, you'll spend more time flying them, so this isn't just a "quick" kit that will bore you in no time.

I think this app can make it difficult for kids who don't have much drawing experience to know how to build a house. But it will be the best tool to connect parent and child. Building and linking them together can make for a great bonding experience.

It's also fun to bring this equipment on vacation. Be sure to take a stapler and ruler with you to build the plane. A small stapler will work fine if you have one, as staples always seem to fly around.

Also, be sure to test the aircraft in a large, unobstructed area on a cool, warm day. My nephew and I used the lake to fly them into the woods, and we lost our plane in one lake and another in the woods. Oh.

Tuttle Publishing released the Airplane One Minute book a few days ago. You can buy them directly from Tuttle, or from Amazon and Powell's.
