are glocks safe

Are Glocks Safe - The system keeps pushing from the first level to the next level. Three automatic safety mechanisms are built into the pistol anti-fire system.

This safe, simple and fast system allows you to give full attention to the man without taking measures to increase damage and change protection. This means it is drop-safe, and works in temperatures from -40° to 122° Fahrenheit.

The system is a fully automatic safety system that includes three passive, self-acting, mechanical safety devices. All three safeties fail as they reset automatically when the trigger is pulled and when the trigger is released.

The trigger safety is the first safety in the firing sequence. The brake is included in the shape of the lever, and when it is stopped, it moves the trigger back. Shooting guns, raising security and causing depressants on purpose at the same time. If the safety catch is not lowered, the trigger will not retract and allow the gun to fire.

The barrel safety is designed to protect the gun from being exposed to any pressure caused by the discharge of the gun or the gun not being fired vertically.

The second safety, the firing point safety, is a device that protects the firing point from the front in the ready-to-fire position. When the trigger is pulled back, the trigger panel increases the security of the firing position and frees the firing mechanism. If you decide not to fire and release the trigger, the shooting location will be updated automatically.

The final safety consists of a safety catch that rests on a safety latch inside the trigger mechanism. The trigger bar catches the back of the firing pin and prevents the firing pin from moving forward. When the trigger is pulled back, the trigger panel lowers the safety mechanism and allows the firing pin to be released. After firing, the trigger bar rises and restores the firing position. All safes are updated automatically when the update is released.

The unique feature of the SAFE ACTION® System allows the trigger to adjust with minimal forward movement, so you don't have to fully release the trigger for the second shot to be guided if you want to shoot multiple times. fast When the wheel is fired, you just have to let it go until it starts again, which you can only hear by feeling. One of the most revolutionary and innovative features of the Glock series of pistols is the slogan "GLOCK Safe Action". This is based on the fact that there is no external security solution, but there are three internal tools: security development, knife security and search security. This has led to the design of modern weapons placing responsibility on the user, rather than being arbitrary. There is also a tactical need to easily transfer the gun. But was there even an experimental Glock made with an external safety? In the first trials of the Austrian army in 1982, the army was not used to be armed without external protection. So the Army asked for a test gun, and sure enough, Glock made one for them to try. No answers were needed, but one of these pistols is today at the National Armory Center in Leeds, England. Officially known as the MoD Pattern Room, the author found this external storage Glock in one of his gun drawers. The gun has a new magazine with a wide floor, so the original magazine should not fit.

Are Glocks Safe?

Gun manufacturer Glock advertises its guns as the epitome of perfection, and the Austrian-made guns have really caught the attention of fans. A common complaint about Glocks is that their trigger pulls are light, causing random recoil. Is there any basis for this rumor?

The Glock 17 pistol gained worldwide popularity in the early 1980s in the United States. The new rifle, which made extensive use of polymers for easy portability, incorporated several new or previously known features, including a shock-fired operating system. Although not new, the striker-fired system was opposed to the conventional hammer-fired system common to most guns on the American market.

From the impact balls, the recoil of the gun is in the middle of the gun, which is completed when the trigger is pulled. Pulling the trigger activates three different safeties, each designed to prevent accidental release that doesn't involve a finger on the trigger. One of the last actions solved by pulling the trigger is the release of the boat hook, which is then fired by the attacker. This reaction force creates a chain that results in the bullet being ejected from the barrel of the gun.

Glock calls the striker-fired operating system its "Safe Action" operating system, and there is a lot of truth to that. A Glock can only be fired with a depressed trigger, meaning that accidental drops from the holster and other objects on the ground cannot, for example, cause the hammer to fly forward and impact the ceiling. Three safety features, including trigger safety, prevent the gun from firing without human intervention.

Safe Action System

The main advantage of the striker-fired system is that the engine is lighter compared to other active gun systems. All full-size and compact Glocks weigh approximately 5.39 pounds versus 24-pounds or 28-pounds, or 6.29 pounds for smaller, concealed-carry Glocks. This level of power is unusual, but a 1911A1-style rifle weighs between 4.5 and 6.1 pounds.

Some guns, especially double-action guns, have heavier pulls. The Beretta 92, the official handgun of the US military, weighs 13 pounds when pulled 5 pounds to make it lighter for the next shot, going through various steps to get the hammer to drop.

While most handguns have heavy trigger pulls, it is clear that some are as heavy as the Glock and have been for decades. It's mostly due to a combination of factors like Glock's "light trigger pull," user error, and gun design.

Are Glocks Safe

In the normal situation where a trigger light can indicate a problem, the only reason the gun goes off is when the gun is pulled. New Glock owners may press the heavy-pistol motors harder than necessary, causing the gun to go off prematurely. However, this is not a design error, but a teaching error.

Another issue that could cause controversy is Glock's lack of an external safety that prevents the trigger from being pulled. The lack of an external safety means there is no safe way if the gun operator breaks the third rule of gun safety: Always keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire. A shooter who is too careful with an outdoor safety gun can be punished by a Glock with serious consequences. While Glock can argue for external safety, the onus falls on the person pulling the strings.

Glock guns may have "lighter" engines, but historically they are not lighter than other conventional guns. Ultimately, the gun operator is the only person who can shoot a gun, and it is up to the Glock owner to learn the ins and outs of safe gun handling.
